the room had luxury toiletries, i liked that. homemade cake was daily, it was delicious. the hotel sits near bars and restaurants, very practical.
the underfloor heating was off initially, it was a bit chilly.

the staff greeted us with warm smiles, escorting us directly to our room. i found the thoughtful extras i requested already in place. breakfast was a pure delight. I savored every bite.
i found the thermostat slightly tricky to adjust.

My husband has limited mobility. The staff were pretty good too meet all his needs! nightjar's nest, our easy-access room, included comfortable beds and a large wet room. we enjoyed tasty meals, served by cute staff. the hotel has a bright atmosphere with original features. High quality is visible throughout.

the room offered complimentary homemade cake, replaced daily. luxury toiletries were provided (molton brown, i believe). i found bathrobes in the wardrobe. the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
the in-room coffee machine made a slight noise when brewing.

slow service lukewarm food
the room had a comfortable bed and a great bathroom.
i went for breakfast, and the service was slow. it took 35 minutes to get our food, and it was just average. i was disappointed in the lukewarm food and slow service.

great location high ceilings friendly staff excessive noise bad sleep late breakfast
i thought the location was good. it overlooked a park and had a high street with bakeries. our room, the beautiful room chiffchaff's post, was on top. it had light and high ceilings. the staff also brought us cake.
there are too many emails and my complaint about noise was not fixed. i had a bad night. i paid extra for a suite. breakfast in a bag was not ready and , made me late.
